Hermione Hair

I think there are two ways you could do Hermione hair.

The first kind is traditional bushy hair. Bushy, kinky, curly hair is her trademark. Any kind of naturally curly or wavy hair is fine (if you do have it, lucky you, I have plain boring straight hair). If you have straight hair, there are many different ways you could do your hair. You could use a curling iron, and the smaller the better, because that will make your hair bushier. A waver or crimper will do the job (I recommend the Bed Head Dual Waver, for 19.99 off Amazon).  Curlers are good, and if you brush your hair in the morning than will make it frizzy (which most people don't like, but Hermione's hair is always frizzy). You could try putting your wet hair in little buns all over your head overnight, and you should wake up with curly hair. Braiding your wet hair overnight is definitely good, with more braids for thicker hair. For all overnight styles, I would use gel and/or hairspray (especially if your hair doesn't curl well), and brush your hair in the morning.

The second way is to leave it as is. Curly haired people can technically do both at the same time, lucky them. But for all you straight haired people... if Hermione had straight hair, she would probably leave hers as is, just like she does with bushy hair. If you want, you could put it in simple styles, like ponytails, braids, french braids, and various twists and pull-backs. The most important thing is, make sure your hair is neat, but don't spend too much time on it. After all, books are much more important than looks.

As for color? That doesn't matter too much. I have brown hair, which is obviously best for Hermione, because she does too. Medium brown hair is best, but any shade is good. If you have any other color of hair, don't worry about it. The attitude is more important. If you really want to, and are really hardcore, you could get you hair dyed and/or permed.
